
The Magic of Alpine Herbs
Since its invention in 1957, Almdudler's proven original recipe has remained unchanged. The composition of selected Alpine herbs is still a closely guarded secret today. Its origin lies in the beautiful nature of the Alpine pastures: this is where herbs such as lemon balm, sage, gentian and elderflowers are gathered. Only after our strict quality checks are they processed further and their essential oils gently extracted. The mash is then allowed to take it easy for a while - it has to mature for several weeks so that the typical Almdudler aroma can fully develop.
Then comes the big moment: the Alpine herbal extract meets fresh, crystal-clear spring water and is brought to life with sparkling carbonation. All that is added is sugar and a splash of citric acid for the sweet-tart, refreshing taste. Honestly, it does not need anything more.
