The Almdudler House Vienna

The highlight: our Almdudler house is probably the only office building with a real Alpine hut on the roof. It is a place that clears the mind - and often brings the best ideas. This is where our team meets for creative exchange and shared dudeling. Thanks to its location in Grinzing, on the outskirts of Vienna, the roof also offers a wonderful view of the greenery and the surrounding vineyards. 

Protecting and preserving the environment is deeply important to Almdudler. That is why we had the building constructed and certified according to Green Building guidelines. What does that mean? The entire building is sustainable all around. Environmentally friendly materials were used for construction, only green electricity is used, and our heating energy comes from geothermal energy.

The Almdudler house, with the iconic shaped bottle at the entrance, is already an eye-catcher in itself - but the facade is a true work of art. It was designed in 2021 by Golif, an artist born in Tyrol whose real name, like his appearance, remains a secret. With his figures, which reinterpret the Almdudler traditional couple in a completely new and modern way, he focuses on expressive aesthetics and originality. Many people will immediately recognise the unmistakable style of his clear brushstroke.

The house also features a small art gallery that celebrates Almdudler's unique spirit and brand history with a wink. Julia Hanzl's unmistakable traditional-couple sculpture regularly gets visitors talking. It is joined by several works by Tom Lohner and a masterpiece by Californian artist Mel Ramos that we are especially proud of. The Pop Art painting titled "Almdudler's Fabulous Blonde" was commissioned for the brand's 60th anniversary and shows the first bottled Almdudler together with Mel Ramos' typical depiction of a pin-up girl. Measuring an impressive 90 x 150 cm, the work was even exhibited for a short time at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna.

Almdudler shares a special passion with bees: a love of diverse herbs. Just like us, they collect aromatic plants from nature to create a golden delicacy. Since 2012, two bee colonies have been buzzing on the roof of the Almdudler house, gifting us the finest organic honey year after year. The beehives are lovingly cared for by our beekeeper Thomas Zelenka.

As Austria's national drink, Almdudler has long been sparkling beyond the country's borders. To provide all fans in Germany with the best possible Almdudler service, we have had our own sales office in Cologne since October 2024. Here, too, we bring the Alpine way of life right into the city. The office combines modern design with Alpine charm: bright rooms, wood panelling and lovingly designed brand details create an unmistakable flair. The lounge area with a Cologne backdrop is a perfect place for meetings and short breaks from everyday work.
